Our Philosophy
For a number of years and, particular during the current economic climate, we
have seen significant decline in rural areas. Village shops and businesses
losing trade to large organisations and on-line shopping. Recently however, we
have seen passionate efforts to stem any further decline. Such initiatives as
the National Forest, providing regeneration and interest in our area, the EMDA
providing support and guidance, along with people’s attitudes slowly changing to
adopting a preference for local produce and services.
It is now vital to our communities
that we support our local businesses and tradesmen to assist in this
regeneration. They provide better and more reliable service, and keep our towns
and villages alive.
